NO….card issuers base their approval on how you’ll be able to pay back whatever you’ll owe, and credit reports are based on your identity, a major info of which is your social security number. it’s also the basis of you being a citizen or a legal resident of the country, so they don’t have to travel around the globe if ever they need to collect later….
on the other hand, please let me know if you can get a credit card without that ssn – i have a bad credit and couldn’t get a new card myself….lol
